Gentleman Drivers Club – Rules & Guidelines

Clean Racing. Consistent Driving. Respect Always. These rules are designed to ensure fair competition, continuous improvement, and a healthy, non-toxic environment for all drivers.

1. General Conduct

  •  Respect all members at all times, both on track and in chat
  •  Toxic behavior, insults, or harassment will not be tolerated
  •  Keep communication constructive and relevant
  •  This is a learning-focused community: help others when possible

2. Racing Etiquette

Clean racing is mandatory. Always.

  •  Avoid contact whenever possible
  •  Overtakes must be safe and controlled
  •  Divebombs, reckless moves, and overly aggressive behavior are not acceptable
  •  If you cause an incident, you are expected to give the position back when appropriate
  •  Rejoining the track must be done safely, without interfering with other drivers

3. Consistency Over Speed

  •  Driving beyond your limits and causing repeated mistakes is discouraged
  •  It is better to maintain a steady pace than to push for a single fast lap
  •  Blocking, erratic driving, or unpredictable behavior will be penalized

4. Race Completion

  •  The priority is to finish the race with minimal errors
  •  Quitting mid-race without valid reason is discouraged
  •  Even after mistakes, drivers are expected to continue and complete the race when possible

5. Incident Handling

  •  Racing incidents will be reviewed when necessary
  •  Not all contact will result in penalties—racing situations are taken into account
  •  Repeated careless driving will lead to sanctions

6. Penalties & Enforcement

  •  Penalties are assigned at the discretion of the organizers
  •  Decisions are final and not subject to appeal
  •  Severe or repeated violations may result in:
    •  Time penalties
    •  Grid penalties
    •  Race disqualification
    •  Temporary suspension
    •  Permanent ban

7. Championship Structure Rules

Entry Level Championship:

  •  No tire wear
  •  No fuel consumption
  •  No damage
  •  Accessible cars
  •  Focus on learning and consistency

Progression System:

  •  Drivers may advance to the next tier based on performance and consistency
  •  Minimum requirement:
    •  Within 107% of pole position time
    •  In at least 75% of races

Drivers who do not meet this standard, or choose not to progress, will remain in the current category.

8. Advanced Tier Rules (When Unlocked)

  •  Tire wear enabled
  •  Fuel consumption enabled
  •  Pit stops required
  •  Damage enabled
  •  Faster and more demanding cars
  •  More technical circuits

Drivers are expected to adapt and maintain the same standards of clean and consistent racing.

9. Final Principle

This is not a win-at-all-costs environment.

Respect, consistency, and control define a good driver here.

If you share these values, you belong here.
