Gentleman Drivers Club – Rules & Guidelines
Clean Racing. Consistent Driving. Respect Always.These rules are designed to ensure fair competition, continuous improvement, and a healthy, non-toxic environment for all drivers.
1. General Conduct
- Respect all members at all times, both on track and in chat
- Toxic behavior, insults, or harassment will not be tolerated
- Keep communication constructive and relevant
- This is a learning-focused community: help others when possible
2. Racing Etiquette
Clean racing is mandatory. Always.
- Avoid contact whenever possible
- Overtakes must be safe and controlled
- Divebombs, reckless moves, and overly aggressive behavior are not acceptable
- If you cause an incident, you are expected to give the position back when appropriate
- Rejoining the track must be done safely, without interfering with other drivers
3. Consistency Over Speed
- Driving beyond your limits and causing repeated mistakes is discouraged
- It is better to maintain a steady pace than to push for a single fast lap
- Blocking, erratic driving, or unpredictable behavior will be penalized
4. Race Completion
- The priority is to finish the race with minimal errors
- Quitting mid-race without valid reason is discouraged
- Even after mistakes, drivers are expected to continue and complete the race when possible
5. Incident Handling
- Racing incidents will be reviewed when necessary
- Not all contact will result in penalties—racing situations are taken into account
- Repeated careless driving will lead to sanctions
6. Penalties & Enforcement
- Penalties are assigned at the discretion of the organizers
- Decisions are final and not subject to appeal
- Severe or repeated violations may result in:
- Time penalties
- Grid penalties
- Race disqualification
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent ban
7. Championship Structure Rules
Entry Level Championship:
- No tire wear
- No fuel consumption
- No damage
- Accessible cars
- Focus on learning and consistency
Progression System:
- Drivers may advance to the next tier based on performance and consistency
- Minimum requirement:
- Within 107% of pole position time
- In at least 75% of races
Drivers who do not meet this standard, or choose not to progress, will remain in the current category.
8. Advanced Tier Rules (When Unlocked)
- Tire wear enabled
- Fuel consumption enabled
- Pit stops required
- Damage enabled
- Faster and more demanding cars
- More technical circuits
Drivers are expected to adapt and maintain the same standards of clean and consistent racing.
9. Final Principle
This is not a win-at-all-costs environment.
