BMW M2 CS Porsche Cup

Description and Instructions

Welcome to the newest Sunday Series championship - the duo cup!

Porsche Cups new and old racing alongside the slow but mighty BMW M2 CS! A fun, multiclass championship that everyone will enjoy, with some fun twists in the racing format this time around. Shortened practice, 2x25 minute races, with 2x15 minute one shot qualifying mode for both races of the event. There will be 40 slots available for this competition. There will be 2 man teams for this series, with 1 driver having to drive the BMW M2, and the other getting a choice between the Porsche 992 Cup OR the Porsche 991.2 Cup car!

REGISTRATION

Porsche Cup (NEW) - 10 slots, Porsche Cup (OLD) - 10 slots, BMW M2 CS - 20 slots

  • All drivers of all skill levels are welcome!
  • You are allowed one car change per season. Car change must be done by contacting a league admin. Car swaps can be done between teammates, but can also only be done once. If changing classes with your teammate, points will be cut in half to factor in the changes.
  • Teams championship points will only count if both members of the team are within separate classes.

Event Timetable

This series is scheduled to start on the 8th of September at 5:30 PM CET, with the following race weekend for the majority of the series:

  • Practice: 20 minutes
  • Qualifying 1: 15 minute One-Shot Qualifying format
  • Race 1: 25 minutes
  • Qualifying 2: 15 minute One-Shot Qualifying format
  • Race 2: 25 minutes

The final round at the Nordschleife will have a different format, but will still be a one-shot qualifying mode!:

  • Practice: 30 minutes
  • Qualifying: 25 minute One-Shot Qualifying format
  • Race: 50 minutes

Stewarding

Post race stewarding will be available during this event.
