Description and Instructions

Overview

Welcome to the inaugeral season of the Raceface.Pro GT3 Championship!

This series consists of 2 x 30 min races taking place on alternating Tuesday evenings.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the series is done here on The Simgrid. If you iintend using the Corvette please select the Mclaren as your car.

Please note that you are not permitted to change your car after race 1

IRATING AND SAFETY RATING 

There is no minimum license required.

The following iRating and safety rating is recommended to compete in this series:

  • IR 1000 or higher | SR D or HIGHER
  • IR 2000 or higher - please enter PRO

RaceDay SCHedule

The race will be a HOSTED session on iRacing - please see the races tab on the SimGrid for Server and Password details.

  • DRIVERS BRIEFING: 20:15
  • SERVER LIVE: 20:30
  • PRACTICE: 5 min
  • QUALIFYING: 10 min (10 Min/4 Laps) - Closed 
  • Heat Race: 30 Min
  • Feature Race: 30 min - top 5 inverted
  • All times are GMT+2

Race format

  • 21x Drive Through Penalty
  • 30x Stop and Go Penalty
  • 40x DSQ
  • Unlimited Fast Repairs
  • OPEN SETUP
  • Car fuel tank capacities will be limited to 35% - it is likely that you will have to make a fuel stop during the race, however pitstops are not mandatory.

Weather

Realistic weather setting will be used for the races. It may or may not rain in the races

CANT MAKE A RACE?

Life happens and we can't all make all of the races. If you cant make a race you don't need to sign out/"withdraw" from the round.
