Description and Instructions

Velocity International Racing League, in Partnership with Gravel Trap Social Club, Presents: The GT4 Challenge

Overview:

Velocity International Racing League is a Host born from the XBOX community at Slipstream International. We have partnered with Gravel Trap Social Club to provide a GT4 Sprint Series that brings our two communities together to fight for bragging rights. This GT4 Challenge race will run a 30 minute race with standard timed Qualifying. 

Event Structure:

Race will take place at 9PM EDT on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Server will be reset promptly at 9PM to start official practice, but will be open to all participants one week in advance.

  • Practice: 15 min
  • Qualifying: 10 min Timed Quali
  • Race: 30 Min Race
  • Track: Kyalami
  • Time of Day: 6PM
  • Ambient: 25C
  • Weather: Static, 10% Cloud Cover

Assists:  

  • All tiers will have the maximum stability control setting to 0. Other than the ones mentioned here, all assists are allowed to be used.

Regions:

  • Our Assetto Corsa Competizione Xbox event runs at a time that enables North American drivers to compete.

Stewarding: 

  • Our Discord incident reporting functionality will be used for after-the-race reporting, with a window of 24 hours.
  • The stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it appropriate and necessary
