Welcome to Season 5 of the Unique and Exciting Real Race Series!!
Championship Format
The championship is accessible to everyone. You get to choose if you want a select your Car in the Privateer Class or have your car picked at random in Factory Class.
There will be two categories: Factory & Privateer
Factory will use the current wheel spin for cars like the previous seasons. - There will be two spins for every driver in the Factory class. You'll choose one of the two and you'll be free to select any real-life livery available for your car.
Privateers will be allowed to drive any car that you wish, you pick the car you want to drive. Privateer class will run in game editor or custom liveries. (See below for further info)
Factory & Privateer will run separate championships to keep it fair as well as running for an overall championship.
There will be a Constructors Championship
The number of races will be 7 races with 1 drop round. More details in the next section.
Tracks, Weather & championship duration
The championship is 7 races with one drop round.
Weather is being changed to include the following:
4 dry races
1 wet race
2 random weather races
The track list for the new season
R1 - Misano
R2 - Bathurst
R3 - Paul Ricard
R4 - Brands Hatch
R5 - COTA
R6 - Imola
R7 - Spa
One race will be a 90 mins race. See calendar-s5 for more info.
Stewarding and incidents
All races will have post-race stewarding.
We will be running an incident monitoring software, this will pick up incidents during the race and log them. There will be 3 stewards that will be in rotation thought the season, they will review the incidents and give penalties accordingly.
The Penalty System is unchanged. Points will be given per incident that isn't deemed a racing incident.
4 points = Quali Ban
8 points = Race Ban
12 points = Season Ban
Sign-ups
Sign-ups for the series will be using the Google Form like in previous seasons. sign-up-s5
During sign-up you'll be asked if you want to pick your own car (Privateer) or get cars picked at random for you (Factory). If choosing the Factory option, you'll be required to tick a box confirming that you won't be able to change car or switch to Privateer until the next season.
Custom Liveries
Liveries will need to be uploaded to a provided Google Drive location. There will be a Liveries and Cars folder. custom-liveries
Admins will make sure that correct files are there and then collate all liveries into a zip folder. This will be further explained in the relevant channel.
Season News
We have bringing back the Season News for Season 5, this will be a place where all the Paddock Gossip, Rivalries, Drama and Season Updates will be posted.
