VIRL Inaugural Sprint Race

Velocity Racing League's Inaugural Sprint Race!

Overview:

Velocity is a new host, born from the XBOX community at Slipstream International. This event will kick off our new adventure with a Sprint Race at our home track, Kyalami! We will be hosting multiple servers for this event so please sign up!

Event Structure:

Race will take place at 3PM EDT on July 29th. Server will be reset promptly at 3PM to start official practice, but will be open to all participants one week in advance.

• Practice: 15m
• Qualifying: 5m (One Shot)
• Race: 30m
• Time of Day: 4PM
• Ambient: 25C
• Weather: Sunny (Static)

One-shot qualifying is one timed lap. Drivers leave the pit lane, perform their out lap and one timed lap. Any driver completing more than 2 laps in the timetable is disqualified from the event.

Assists:  

• All tiers will have the maximum stability control setting to 0. Other than the ones mentioned here, all assists are allowed to be used.

Regions:

• Our Assetto Corsa Competizione Xbox event runs at a time that enables all North American and European-based drivers to compete.

Stewarding: 

• Our Discord incident reporting functionality will be used for after-the-race reporting, with a window of 24 hours.
• The stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it appropriate and necessary
