Description and Instructions

MID-YEAR MISCHIEF SERIES

Overview:

Championship format: This championship will run for 7 rounds with different cars, tracks, and conditions every race.

DLC required to run every race:

  • American Track Pack
  • British GT Pack
  • 2020 GT World Challenge Pack
  • Challengers Pack
  • GT4 Pack
  • Intercontinental GT Pack

Race format: 

  • Free practice session of 20 minutes before qualifying.
  • Round 1 will be One-Shot Qualifying. Rounds 2-7 qualifying sessions will last 10 minutes.
  • Rounds 1-4 will be two 25 minute races.
  • Rounds 5-7 will be one 45 minute race.

No mandatory pitstops, however refueling and tyre changes will be allowed.

Race conditions:

  • Weather conditions will be set to preset weather conditions a week before the race.
  • In-game time will be set to a preset time for the race.

Assists:  

  • All tiers will have the maximum stability control setting to zero. Other than the ones mentioned here, all assists are allowed to be used.

Day/time: 

  • Race events will take place at 3pm EDT.

Stewarding and live streaming: 

  • Simgrid's incident reporting functionality will be used for after-the-race reporting, with a window of 24 hours.
  • The stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it appropriate and necessary
