Description and Instructions

Overview

Welcome to our first driver swap event! 4 hours of CoTA! To register, please create a team on TheSimGrid and sign up! This is a one off - fun event and not part of a championship, so everybody is welcome to join. This event will use the inbuilt driver swap system that has recently been made available on console. 

EVENT TIMETABLE

Server Reset 6PM UK time (BST)

Practice: 30 minutes (7pm game time) 

Driver Briefing/warmup: 10 minutes

Qualifying: 15 minutes (7pm game time) 

Race: 240 minutes (5pm game time) 

Pitstop 

No limit to stint times, each driver/team will need to complete atleast one stint

Weather

Ambient temp: 17, cloud coverage: 0.5, Weather randomness: 3 (scale of 0-7)

Rules in case of server issues 

If there is a server crash before the half way point, the server will be reset with roughly the original remaining time left on the clock. Unfortunately drivers will have to restart from their original qualifying position - this is not an idea solution and will only be used in the unlikely event of a server crash.

If there is a server crash after the half way mark, then results will be taken from the point of the crash.
