# 2W SimRacing - Le Mans Ultimate Event Rules

## 1. General Information

This event is a standalone, non-championship race hosted by the 2W SimRacing Community in Le Mans Ultimate. The main focus is fair racing, mutual respect, clean battles, and an enjoyable racing evening with colleagues and SimGrid-followers.

All drivers must register for the event via SimGrid before the race. This helps us plan the grid and server capacity accordingly.

## 2. Event Format

The event consists of the following sessions:

  • Free Practice: 2 hours
  • Qualifying: 20 minutes
  • Race: 80 minutes

Exact start times will be communicated in the event itsself in SimGrid.

## 3. Registration

Registration for the event must be completed through SimGrid. Participation without prior registration is generally not intended, as grid slots and server capacity need to be planned in advance. If you are unable to attend after registering, please withdraw from the event as early as possible so another driver can take your place.

## 4. Car Selection

Cars may be selected freely before the event. Once the event has started, drivers should keep the same car for qualifying and the race. As this is a standalone event, there is no season-long car commitment and no penalty for choosing a different car in future events.

## 5. Pit Strategy

Pit strategy is completely open. Each driver is responsible for deciding if, when, and how often to pit, unless the game or event configuration defines additional requirements.

## 6. On-Track Behaviour

All drivers are expected to race fairly and respectfully. This includes:

  • Respectful behaviour in battles
  • Clean overtaking
  • No intentional blocking
  • Safe rejoining after leaving the track
  • Extra caution during the first lap
  • Respectful behaviour when being lapped or lapping others
  • Respecting track limits and in-game rules
