The hottest series in ARL is back with another exciting season! This season will be the last “free to enter” Tuesday series, so don’t miss out. This season has been graciously paid by our great console admin Mr. BRT Butler! The Tuesday series going forward will transition to “pay to play”, more info will be provided on ARL discord.
Our GT3 BigGrid Tuesdays features 3 classes. 2 evaluation races will be held to start the season. Returning drivers please sign up in your assigned class. New drivers can sign up in any class and will be properly sorted after the eval races. All drivers will be evaluated to make sure you’re in the right class. At least 1 eval race is needed to receive a proper class. No scoring for the eval races. Drivers who sign up after the eval races must provide a pic of your stat page in the “time submission” channel on ARL discord.
This 8 round season will feature 60min and 80min sprints. Scoring will be x1.3 for the 80min races. All races will feature 1 mandatory pitstop for tires, fuel is always optional. Practice will be 45min for the 60min sprints and 30min for the 80min sprints. 2 bonus points will be awarded for the Purple Lap in each class. 1 drop round will be allowed this season. Prizes will be awarded to the class winners and a prize for the Overall top driver, based on shipping.
🗣️ Mandatory Drivers Meeting 10min before official practice server opens hosted on ARL discord. Race password will be given out here. Starting at 8:20pm EST
Failure to attend drivers meetings could lead to removal from the series!!
🅿️ Official practice server opens directly after drivers meeting. 45min practice for 60min races. 30min practice for 80min races. Only 6 sets of tires for the entire race weekend. Starting around 8:30pm EST
⏱️ 30min split class qualy. Each class will have 10min to set qualy times. AMs in first 10min. PRO/AM(silver) in middle 10min. PRO in final 10min. Starting around 9:00pm or 9:15pm EST
🏎️ 60 or 80 minute race with 1 mandatory stop for tires. Starting around 9:30pm or 9:45pm EST
Qualy will be split into 10 minutes for each class. AMs will go out in the first 10 minutes. No passing in Sector 3 of the outlap as drivers should be slowing to create a gap from the driver ahead(3-5 seconds) before starting the hotlap. No passing during hotlaps unless the driver ahead is on an invalid lap. Drivers on an invalid lap should not hinder the drivers behind who are on a hotlap. Please stay off the racing line and allow passing if necessary if you invalidate to make it clear to the drivers behind. PRO/AM(silver) class may start lining up at the end of the pits at the 21 minute mark. Please do not release onto track until the 20 minute mark. At the 20 minute mark all AMs should be off track and the PRO/AM(silver) will start their qualy. Same qualy rules apply. PRO class may start lining up at the end of pit lane at the 11 minute mark. At the 10 minute mark the PRO class will start their qualy, same rules apply.
Blue flags do not have to give up the racing line. We ask that you do not defend into the corners and allow room if possible or a slight lift down the straights to help facilitate a pass. It is the faster car’s responsibility to make a safe pass on blue flagged cars. If you are a blue flagged car, you are allowed to unlap yourself at anytime in the race. Common sense is the best tool in these situations.
Weather will be set for each race, not using real world forecast this season!
Always take it easy going through the first few corners on lap 1. Hold your brakes if involved in an incident. Stream or record your quali and race in case you’re involved in an incident. Please remember to keep a cool head, even post race. No driver bashing in the chat. Incident Reporting will open 12 hours after the race on ARL discord. Any questions reach out to a Console Admin on ARL discord🍻🏁
