Driving Guidelines: (Modified LFM ruleset)

1. The overtaking driver is responsible for a clean overtake. Nevertheless, both drivers have to be mindful while the overtake is happening.

2. Any driver defending his position on a straight, approaching a braking zone, may use the full track width during the lane change, provided no "major part" of a car trying to overtake is next to him. In this case, the driver must not depart from his line without good reason while defending his position. To avoid any doubt, "major part" means that the front of the passing car is next to the rear wheel of the other car.

3. During a fight the driver ahead is allowed to change its racing line once to defend. Multiple line changes to break the slipstream ("weaving") and line changes in the braking zone ("moving under braking") are forbidden.

4. Crossing the continuous line at the pit entry/exit is not permitted for drivers coming in/out of the pit lane.

5. It must be ensured that other drivers are not impaired when leaving the pit lane; enough space must be left so all the drivers can join the track without being obstructed.

6. Each driver has to respect blue flags. You must not defend under blue flags and should hold your line. Please be mindful when letting faster cars past: don't brake on the racing line or at the apex of the corner - try to maintain a predictable behavior. Slightly lifting the gas pedal on the straights, off racing line, is recommended to facilitate the overtake.

7. If a driver is involved in an accident, he must immediately hit and hold the brakes, depending on the situation, in order not to become an unpredictable obstacle for other drivers. If the car comes to a stop on the track, the driver must wait until it is safe to continue.

8. Any driver leaving the track may only re-join it if this maneuver does not represent a danger or obstruction to other drivers.

9. MULTICLASS RACING: Responsibility for a safe pass is shared by both drivers. The faster-class car is responsible for choosing an appropriate time and place to overtake, while the slower-class car should remain predictable and generally follow its normal racing line unless it is safe and clearly beneficial to facilitate the pass. Slower-class cars should not make sudden defensive moves or unexpectedly yield, and faster-class cars should not expect slower-class cars to abandon the racing line.
