The event uses the Le Mans Ultimate (LMU) Default Penalty System (Normal).
Race Control may issue additional penalties for behavior not adequately covered by the in-game penalty system.
Qualifying will be held as an Open Track session.
A car on a Flying Lap has priority over any car on an Out Lap, Preparation Lap, or any lap that is no longer a valid qualifying attempt.
A driver already on a Flying Lap does not have to give way simply because another Flying Lap car catches them from behind.
Drivers approaching slower traffic are responsible for creating an appropriate gap before beginning their qualifying lap.
Drivers who are not on a Flying Lap must safely and promptly move off the racing line to avoid interfering with qualifying attempts.
A Flying Lap is defined as a lap where:
A Preparation Lap includes:
The Safety Car procedure generally follows the NDS5 Regulations.
Drivers must:
Deliberately delaying the field or significantly hindering other competitors may result in additional penalties.
When the Safety Car returns to the pits, pace control is transferred to the Race Leader.
The Race Leader should maintain approximately 150 km/h unless otherwise instructed by Race Control.
The Race Leader may accelerate at any point between the exit of the final corner and the Control Line.
For circuits where the final corner is a chicane, the entire chicane is considered part of the final corner.
Once the Race Leader accelerates, the race is considered restarted.
From that moment, overtaking is permitted for any cars that have exited the final corner and are within the restart zone.
Drivers should avoid unnecessary braking or deceptive brake-light tactics after exiting the final corner.
If Race Control determines that a restart created unnecessary confusion or was intentionally misleading, a restart procedure penalty may be applied.
