GT One Endurance Series
*When the regulations refer to a driver, this applies to either of the two drivers on the team, with penalties being applied to the final results of both.
1. Car:
In this championship, the permitted cars will be the 3 cars from the 90s in the GR.2 category (Toyota GT-One, Mercedes CLK-LM and McLaren F1 GTR Race Car). Each team must use the same car with the same livery and the same number.
2. Events
Each event will have a qualifying round and two stints (races). The qualifying lasts 10 minutes, and the duration of each stint is the number of minutes indicated by the event name. Stint 1 uses the classification to determine the starting order, and stint 2 uses the result of stint 1. Each stint must be done by one driver from the team (a driver cannot do two stints), with the driver from stint 1 being responsible for qualifying.
3. Scoring System
The scoring system is basic and awards points for the final result of the second stint.
P1 - 20
P2 - 15
P3 - 12
P4 - 10
P5 - 8
P6 - 6
P7 - 4
P8 - 3
P9 - 2
P10>P16 - 1
4. Rules and penalties
In this championship, there will be penalties during and after the race. Penalties during the race, applied by the game itself, include: penalty for cutting corners and track limits, penalty for colliding with a wall, penalty for cutting the pit lane, and penalty for not using all mandatory tire compounds. Penalties for collisions with other drivers and similar situations will be imposed by the championship stewards after the race. Penalties applied by stewards include: added time to the final race time, penalty in race positions, penalty in championship points and ban from one or more races. The penalties take into consideration not only the act itself, but also its consequences, aiming to truly punish the driver for what he did during the race. Knowing this, there isn't necessarily a table of penalties, but here are some basic punishments that will be used by the stewards:
Simple collision with another car: 5-10 seconds
A very reckless or deliberate collision: 5 positions - 1 race ban
Zigzag or dangerous defense: 10-20 seconds
What is wrong and what is not is defined by common sense, based on other categories and championships, real or not. For a maneuver/situation to be penalized by the stewards, it must be reported in the #reports channel. If you wish to appeal a penalty with arguments, you must submit your appeal through the same channel. For both reporting and appealing, the time limit is 4 days after the end of the race in question. We ask that you save the race replay for cases like this.
5. Flags
The driver must respect the flags used in the game, the yellow and blue flags. Avoid overtaking under yellow flags whenever possible. Positions gained illegally must be returned immediately. When you receive a blue flag, try to move off the main racing line but maintain a predictable direction.
6. Race cancellation or technical problems
A race may be cancelled by the moderator for any reason without prior notice. In this case, the race may be canceled or rescheduled. If there are technical problems and a stint cannot be completed, several options can be taken: if stint 1 is interrupted, it can be terminated and stint 2 will begin, or it will be restarted from scratch. The same applies to the stint 2, with the difference that if it is marked as completed, that will be the final result. Also, in some cases, stint 2 may not occur and stint 1 may be the final result. If the race, including both stints, does not reach the total expected time, the points will be applied as follows:
Less than 15 minutes: no points will be awarded to the drivers.
Between 15 and 60 minutes: half points will be awarded to the drivers.
Longer than 60 minutes: Full points will be awarded
In either decision, you will be notified.
