Ford Mustang GT3 Sim Wheel – Chosen by the 2025 24H Daytona Winner for its balance, grip and confidence.
The Porsche Cup car is coming back to ARL Sundays with an exciting 7 round challenge! Drivers will be split into 2 classes, PRO and AM. Sign up in either class then head over to the practice server and complete at least 5 laps(Server will be setup on June 8). Search “ARL Console” to find the server. Based on lap times, drivers will be assigned to the proper class before Round 1. Once you complete your laps nothing else is needed, I can view the times through Simbot and move drivers to their proper class. Failure to post lap times in the server before round 1 will result in being assigned as a reserve. Any driver signing up after round 1 will be placed in their correct class after completing a race.
This season features the return of 1-Lap Qualy and a rotating race format. 60 minute races will have 1 mandatory stop for tires. 45 minute races will have no mandatory stop. 90 minute finale race will have 2 mandatory stops for fuel. 90 minute race is worth double points. Bonus points for Qualy will be earned for the top 3 in each class(1st=3,2nd=2,3rd=1). Champions will be crowned in each class, along with an overall Porsche Cup champion. Trophies will be awarded to the winners, based on shipping.
Mandatory drivers meeting will be held on ARL discord 10 minutes before the event starts. Failure to appear will result in 3 license points. 6 points will result in a mandatory race ban. Check ARLs penalty tracking page on discord for more info on License Points.
Qualy will start with 10 minutes on the clock. AM drivers head on track immediately and start creating a gap in Sector 3 for the start of the hot lap.(Remember you want to create enough gap to get a full speed start on your hot lap). If you invalidate on your hot lap, please return to pits. After completing your valid lap, please return to pits; even if time remains in the Qualy session. At the 5 minute mark all AM drivers should be off track and PRO drivers will head out on track with the same rules. Any driver violating these rules will receive significant penalties. You’re allowed to use your 5 minutes any way you want for heating up tires. You can drag the brakes on your out lap, or you can let the entire grid go ahead to try and hope for some rubber on the track(I doubt it lol). As long as you follow the rules above, any strategy you see fit can be implemented but you have to start your hot lap before your 5 minute time is up.(Standard 30 minute split qualy will be used in the final round)
Blue flags do not have to give up the racing line. We ask that you do not defend into the corners and allow room if possible or a slight lift down the straights to help facilitate a pass. It is the faster car’s responsibility to make a safe pass on blue flagged cars. If you are a blue flagged car, you are allowed to unlap yourself at anytime in the race. Common sense is the best tool in these situations.
ARL is committed to clean, fun, competitive but fair racing. We’re all here to have fun so bring the good vibes only. Purposely blocking other drivers or sabotaging races will not be tolerated along with driver bashing in the discord chat after a race. Most disputes can be worked out via private chat. Please stream or record your race for incident reporting. ARL’s incident reporting will open 12 hours after each race on discord. Any questions, reach out to PrinceNieko on discord🍻✌🏽
