Welcome to the LMP2 Sprint Series by Racing Club International!
The first edition of our LMP2 sprint championship on Thursdays is here. 60-minute races, doubled fuel usage, 3 driver classification standings and an overall championship to fight for across 6 incredible circuits around the world of Le Mans Ultimate!
The driver roster is divided into PRO, PRO-AM, and AM categories to allow drivers of all skill levels to battle for a win in their own classification and overall. The PRO-AM and AM categories will be limited to specific Driver Ratings on SimGrid to prevent drivers of a much higher rating from registering for that classification. Meanwhile, the PRO class is open to registration from all Grid Rating ranks; we do advise drivers to consider which classification is appropriate for them carefully. The organiser, RCI, reserves the right to move drivers to a different classification should they deem the driver in question to have registered for a classification that does not fit their actual skill level.
Also, due to a significant portion of rosters on SimGrid not consistently showing up to events, we've implemented an Attendance Ratio restriction for registrations this season at 40%. You won't be able to register for the season unless your SimGrid AR is 40% or higher. We value drivers who consistently show up week in and week out for the events they have signed up for.
Life happens, which is why the series has 2 allocated Signouts if you cannot attend a specific round of the championship. However, if you register for the season, we expect you to see it out in full, or to the best of your ability. Finally, we will be taking harsh action against DNS drivers this season (Did Not Start with no Signout used). DNS = Disqualification from the Championship.
Before you register, please make sure that your SimGrid account is linked to Racecontrol. You can do this via the Connections tab on the Edit Profile page on SimGrid.
