Welcome to the 6th edition of The Ricky Taylor Grand Prix β and a community first, sponsored by Sim-Lab! The Pro-Am Pairs Edition pairs 16 drivers of mixed skill into 8 two-driver teams, racing Gr.4 cars across two of GT7's most scenic circuits. Two 2-hour races. One combined championship. Your partner's result counts as much as yours. π€

Format: 16 teams Γ 2 drivers (mixed skill pairings)

Tracks: Race 1 β Alsace Village / Race 2 β Kyoto Driving Park (Yamagiwa + Miyabi)

Car Category: Gr.4 (NO 4WD, NO GT by CitroΓ«n, NO Hyundai Elantra)

Race Distance: 2 Γ 2 hours

Tyre Compounds: All compounds available (Hard, Medium, Soft, IM, Heavy Wet)

Mandatory Compounds: Minimum of 2 different DRY compounds per race

Weather: Random β pack your wets just in case β

Scoring: 20-16-13-11-9-7-5-3 for top 8 each race + 1 point for fastest lap (top 8 finishers only). Combined team total wins the championship.

π How to Register
Sign up on The SimGrid. 50 sign-up spots, 31 drivers selected to join me on the grid (32 total, 16 teams), 10 reserves on standby. Pairings will be put together to balance experience across the field β so whether you're a regular or this is your first community race, there's a place for you here. Selected drivers get the full briefing 2 weeks before race day: lobby settings, fuel/wear multipliers, team pairings, and all the driver info you'll need. Reserves get called up if anyone has to drop out. Clean, respectful racing as always β and remember, this time you're racing for two. See you on track! ποΈπ¨
