ADDITIONAL INFO:
Balance of Performance: Custom LFM BoP will be applied
Weather: Realistic weather will be used based on the accuweather forecast for Race Day. The weather is locked in a week prior to the event.
Blue Flags: When being blue flagged you are not allowed to defend your position. The lapping car may use flashers to show intent to pass.
You may unlap yourself if you are faster than the lapping car ahead, but you must build a gap of at least 1.5 seconds within 3 laps or you must return the position back to the lapping car.
Please be sensible when trying to lap traffic, and display patience.
Penalties/ Incidents: Incidents can be submitted at any time during the event with submissions closing 2 hours after the end of the event. Submissions can be submitted via the ticket tool in #acc-incident-submission. You must provide your own video evidence, all submissions without evidence will be thrown out.
Server Crash/Red Flag Procedures: Red Flags suck and unfortunately there is no perfect solution for restarting the race after one. In the event the server crashes the race will be reset using the positions from the leader’s last full racing lap. We do ask for patience as this is not a quick process, and the grid will need to be manually set in GPORTAL. When the server comes back up you must have your team's DRIVER 1 join the server first. If for some reason your team’s driver 1 is unavailable, a change can be made prior to server reset you must notify a steward or league owner.
After the settings are loaded and grid is set there will be notification of a 5min countdown for the server reset plus a 5min practice session to allow teams to join back into the server. The time taken to reset the race will be deducted from the race timer from when the server crashed.
Note:This does mean all lap cars will now be back on the lead lap.
