iRacing MX-5 Sprint Cup Presented by StintIQ

VELOCITY INTERNATIONAL'S iRacing MX-5 Sprint Cup |  SEASON 6

Velocity International is a Sim Racing Community born from Console ACC. Over the past three years we have grown to over 2800 members across Console ACC, LMU, and iRacing. This series is the seventh season of our Midweek Series. 

This series will see drivers contest 7 weeks of dual 25 minute sprint races in the Mazda MX-5. Setups will be fixed. There will be a Top 5 Invert in Race 2. Our Special Event will be one 35 Lap race worth DOUBLE POINTS!

SERIES CALENDAR:

All Servers open on Tuesdays @ 8:00PM EST starting June 2nd, 2026 for a 50 minute practice. All reported times will be in Eastern Time:

1. Daytona Road Course
2. Motorsport Arena Oschersleben
3. Oulton Park
4. Charlotte Oval (Special Event)
5. St. Petersburg
6. Lime Rock
7. Virginia International

SCORING:

We will use the SimGrid Progressive scoring system.

• Sprints - each 25 min race is worth half points
• Bonus point for fastest lap

Series DETAILS:

• Drivers will be allowed max signouts.
• Series to include 1 Drop Round

RACE DETAILS:

• Fixed Setups for all races - Specific to the track: [trackName].sto in Official Setups or High Downforce if specific setup is not available
• Start Type: Rolling Start
• Practice: 50 minutes
• Quali: 10 minutes
• Fast Repairs: 1
• Incident Multiplier will be 17x = Drive Through, additional penalty every 10 after. Drivers to report incidents in Discord after race. Admin may also use in-session stewarding controls
• Assist levels will be set to C-Class iRacing events
• Weather: Variable Weather
• Track Conditions: Carry-over (Marbles cleaned each session)
