π C&P Track Dayz Championship Rules & Etiquette πC&P Track Dayz is built around fun, clean racing, and community-first competition. Championship rules and scoring will follow SimGrid standards where applicable, with C&P-specific additions for manufacturer points, fastest lap points, linear scoring, and double points at the championship round.
1. General Conduct
Drivers are expected to race respectfully, communicate clearly, and avoid unnecessary drama. Mistakes happen. Acting like every incident is a federal war crime is not required, shocking as that may be to some racers.
2. Clean Racing Standard
Drivers must leave racing room, avoid reckless divebombs, unsafe rejoins, intentional contact, blocking, brake-checking, and retaliatory driving. If you cause contact, wait when appropriate and give the position back.
3. Multi-Class Awareness
Faster classes are responsible for making safe passes. Slower classes should hold a predictable racing line. Do not panic-weave, block, or suddenly βhelpβ by disappearing into the grass like a confused lawn dart.
4. Car & Class Choice
Drivers are highly encouraged to pick one class and one car for the duration of the championship. This is not strictly required unless otherwise stated, but consistency helps with manufacturer points, class identity, and cleaner competition.
5. Qualifying & Race Start
Respect qualifying space. Do not block flying laps. During race starts, use extra caution through the opening corners. Lap 1 heroics usually become Lap 1 paperwork.
6. Track Limits & Penalties
Track limits, in-game penalties, and SimGrid-applied rules will be respected. Any driver gaining a clear advantage through off-track driving should lift or give the position back.
7. Incidents & Reviews
Incidents may be reviewed by admins/stewards if reported with video or clear evidence. Reports should be calm, factual, and submitted after the race. Rage essays written in all caps will be enjoyed, mocked internally, and probably ignored.
8. Points Structure
The championship will use a standard linear points system, with additional points awarded for manufacturer standings and fastest laps. The final championship round will award double points.
9. Sportsmanship
This championship is meant to be competitive, but fun. Help new drivers, respect experienced drivers, and remember the goal is to build a stronger PMR community.
10. Admin Authority
Admins reserve the right to adjust rules, penalties, points, or event settings when needed to protect fair racing and community health.
ποΈ Race hard. Race clean. Donβt be the reason we need a 40-page rulebook.
