Welcome drivers to another endurance event hosted by ARL. This time we’re heading to the north coast of the Netherlands for 4.5 hours on the twisty Zandvoort Circuit! This will be a driver-swap event, teams of 1-4 drivers are welcomed to sign up. No pit requirements, but a 65 minute driver stint time and 95 minute maximum driving time will be implemented. 16 sets of tires will be available for the entire race weekend. 2 bonus points will be awarded to the team with the purple lap. Special prize will be awarded to our winning team. Practice server will be available Aug 1st. This will be a night race, so make sure the headlights are shining bright…
Raceday will consist Of:
- 10 min Practice(to allow everyone into the server)
- 45 min open Practice/Qualy(any/all drivers on the team are allowed to qualify)
- 270 min Race(no pit requirements, 65 minute driver stint time active)
Driver stint time will be set at 65 minutes. To reset your stint time, simply drive through the pit lane. No stop is required, timer will reset as you exit the pit lane. Maximum driving time(how long you can drive without swapping drivers) will be set to 95 minutes for a full team(4 drivers). For teams with less than 4 drivers, this number will be proportionally split among the number of drivers on your team. All drivers on a team must participate or risk a DSQ. No specific pit requirements for this race.
Blue flags do not have to give up the racing line. We ask that you do not defend into the corners and allow room if possible or a slight lift down the straights to help facilitate a pass. It is the faster car’s responsibility to make a safe pass on blue flagged cars. If you are a blue flagged car, you are allowed to unlap yourself at anytime in the race. Common sense is the best tool in these situations.
Gather your team now and start practicing for what’s sure to be a battle to the finish. If you need help forming a team, head over to our “endurance chat” on ARL discord. Please stream or record your race for incident reporting. Incident reporting will open about 20 hours after the race on ARL discord.
ARL is committed to clean, fun, competitive but fair racing. We’re all here to have fun so bring the good vibes only. Purposely blocking other drivers or sabotaging races will not be tolerated along with driver bashing after a race. Most disputes can be worked out via private chat.
