Description and Instructions

The wait is finally over! The Haven Sprint Cup is back! New tracks, new cars, same racing. Take your place on the grid and find out what makes the Sprint Cup so special! Mixed ability grids, day and night races, a dynamic weather system, and more! Races begin every Friday at 7:00 PM GMT.

Prizes:

SimHaven Merchandise will be awarded to the Sprint Cup Champion! Additionally, one random driver that participates in 7+ races will be also be given their choice of select SimHaven Merchandise! Anyone can win, all you have to do is drive!

Format:

  • Free Practice: 18:00 GMT
  • Qualifying: 19:00 GMT
  • Race: 19:20 GMT
  • All Races are 40 minutes

Pit Strategy

There will be no mandatory tire change, instead, drivers are required to make one 25s mandatory fuel pit stop. Tire strategy is entirely up to the driver.

Weather System

Following the overwhelming support from the previous season, the Sprint Cup will continue with our trademark weather system. While the league itself will play out over a two-month period, we've tried to simulate a real racing calendar in regard to seasonal weather. Each week, we will post a weather report well in advance of each race which will give you some details about the incoming weather, with a variety of temperatures and precipitation levels. A practice server will also be provided to help drivers get a feel of race conditions.

Custom Liveries

Season 3 of the Haven GT Sprint Cup will support custom liveries, You will be given an opportunity to submit them before the first race.

Drop Round

We will be allowing one drop round for all drivers! This will automatically remove a driver's lowest result over the course of the season. This will essentially forgive a missed race.

You must be in our discord to participate. Races will not be streamed officially, however individual streams are often internally promoted! Season 4 of the Sprint Cup consists of a warmup race (points will not be scored) and eight races. There will be a season break over the holidays, with a return to the track early January!
