In the GT World Series, every driver has something to fight for, no matter their pace.
🥇 Driver Rating Championships (Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum)
Drivers are placed into performance tiers on entry — and you’ll score points and podiums within your own class!
You don’t need to win overall to become a GRDC Champion — every tier has its own championship battles.
👑 New for Season 3 - Grand Series Champion! Top 3 drivers from each class at the end of Round 4 are entered into the Grand Series Championship knockout!
The Grand Series Champion is our overall Drivers Winner. Not shackled by Driver Class or Manufacturer championship. Winner takes all.
Race 5 is knockout round 1. The bottom 4 drivers from the overall results are ‘knocked out’ and are no longer eligible for the Grand Series Championship.
Race 6 is knockout round 2. The bottom 4 drivers from the overall results are ‘knocked out’ and are no longer eligible for the Grand Series Championship.
Race 7 is the Grand Series Finale and whichever driver from the remaining 4 Champion elects finishes highest will take the crown!
All other championships are unaffected. For example, your race results in the knockout rounds still count towards driver class and manufacturer championships. Once a driver is ‘knocked out’, they are just not eligible for the Grand Series Championship. Eligibility for all other championships is unaffected. If a driver eligible for the Grand Series Championship pulls out or is DSQ, the highest finishing runner up from the previous round takes their place.
