📊BOP
🧑⚖️stewarding (Incident Manager APP/SAfety car?)
-
ORL has recently developed a primitive stewarding app that will allow us to have repeat contact offenders penalized based on a binary no fault system
For those of you who are familiar with iRacing no-fault built in stewarding system you will understand it quite well. It is not the same system, however, it is similar in how it works. Once there is a contact detected each driver gets an Incident Point. Once a point thresholds is reached a penalty is automatically applied. The settings are TBD but might look something like this:
- 1 points per contact with another car
- 4 points = 15s penalty
- 6 points = 15s penalty
- 8 points = DT
- 12 points = DT
- 16 points = SG30
- 18 points = DQ
- We will adjust it from race to race to ensure constant improvements.
- Live-stewards will oversee the Incident Manager app, however you are still encouraged to submit reports in our #🎫│enduro-reports channel in case they are not picked up or severity/intent/stupidity is in question
- We may experiment with a SAFETY CAR in rounds 2 and 4 pending staff availability, it might be a game time decision. It will be explained in the briefing and in the race.
