📋 Important Eligibility Requirements
Before registering, please take note:
🔞 Minimum age: 16 years old
Any driver proven to be under 16 will result in immediate team disqualification.
🪪 Licensing Requirement:
At least one driver per team must hold a valid Esports License from Motorsport South Africa
OR
A start permission slip from their ASN with a current Esports License.
- Join the MSA Esports iracing league: 14164
🏎️ Race Format
Each round promises high-intensity GT3 action:
30-Minute Warm-Up
Server connection and final preparation time.
5-Minute Drivers Briefing
Mandatory session covering procedures, stewarding updates, and sporting conduct expectations.
10-Minute Solo Qualifying
Two laps to set your time.
No traffic interference — pure speed determines your grid slot.
Two 20-Minute Heats
Strategic sprint racing where tire management, race craft, and consistency are key.
Every position matters in the championship fight.
🛠️ 1 Fast Repair Allowed
Use it strategically — it may be the difference between points and retirement.
🚘 Car Class – GT3
Drivers may compete in the following GT3 machines:
From turbocharged V8 power to high-revving precision machines, every car brings its own character — but with fixed setups, it’s the driver who makes the difference.
⚖️ Stewarding & Fair Play
The championship will rely heavily on iRacing’s inbuilt automated stewarding system to ensure consistent rulings. Additionally:
Dedicated stewards will review incidents throughout the event.
Protests must be submitted via the SimGrid protest system.
⚠️ Each team has a maximum of 4 protests available after the race.
Clean, respectful racing is expected at all times.
