Le Mans Series Tour – Season 1

Rules & Procedures

Welcome to Season 1 of the Le Mans Series Tour. This is our more casual Le Mans Ultimate championship β€” shorter races, slightly more accessible settings, and a relaxed atmosphere β€” but still built on the same core principles:Clean racing.
Respectful driving.
Strong multi-class awareness. The vibe is lighter.
The standards still matter.

πŸ“… Race Calendar

30/04 – Lusail
14/05 – PortimΓ£o
28/05 – Monza

25/06 – Interlagos

πŸ•’ Event Format (Every Round)

Race Start – 20:00 UK
Start Type – In-game rolling startNo mandatory pit stops.

πŸš— Classes

Le Mans Series Tour focuses on accessible prototype racing, designed to help drivers transition into faster machinery with confidence. This series is ideal for:

  • Drivers stepping up from GT3

  • Drivers wanting shorter-format prototype racing

  • Anyone who enjoys multi-class strategy without full endurance length

βš™ Server Settings

To make the step into LMP racing smoother:ABS Braking is enabled as an option on the server.Drivers may choose whether to use it.
This is intentional to reduce the barrier of entry for those adapting from GT3 to prototype braking characteristics.Tyre Warmers are enabled.
Drivers will begin sessions with tyres at operating temperature. All track limits and penalties are server-controlled and will not be removed.

πŸ”΅ Multi-Class Racing Standards

Even in a more casual championship, racecraft expectations remain clear. The responsibility for a safe overtake always lies with the faster car.Faster-class drivers must:

  • Plan overtakes responsibly

  • Avoid divebombs

  • Prioritise passes on straights

Slower-class drivers must:

  • Remain predictable

  • Avoid reactive defensive moves

  • Hold a consistent racing line when being lapped

Blue flags are informational.
They are not permission to force a move.Shorter races mean higher intensity β€” that does not justify higher risk.

πŸ§‘β€βš–οΈ Stewarding & Incident Review

Le Mans Series Tour uses the same Stewarding Workflow Template as our main LMU championship. This ensures:

  • Consistency in decision-making

  • Structured incident evaluation

  • Fair application of penalties

Due to the more casual nature of this series, stewarding will typically be handled by 1–2 stewards, rather than a full three-person panel.

Automatic Reviews

Lap 1 is reviewed in full after every race.

Protest-Based Reviews

Outside of Lap 1:Incidents will only be reviewed if formally reported within 24 hours via the official protest form.If it is not reported, it will not be investigated.

Driver names

Drivers will be required to use the same name as used on Simgrid to sign up for the series, in game as well. This is done to lead to less frustrations for stewards trying to match up names to drivers who have changed them in game. If your name does not match, you will be DSQ from the results of the round you've just completed.

πŸ“ Protest Requirements

All protests must include:

  • Time and corner reference

  • Drivers involved

  • Clear description of the incident

Incomplete or vague reports may not be reviewed.

βš– Possible Penalties

Warnings
Time penalties
Points deductions
Licence points
Race bans (for serious incidents)Penalty types remain aligned with the main championship.

πŸ† Championship Format

Points awarded per finishing position.
Standings updated after each round. This is a sprint-format championship β€” consistency will be key.

🎀 Final Notes

Le Mans Series Tour is:More relaxed.
Shorter format.
More accessible. But still proper racing. If you're stepping into prototypes for the first time β€” this is your platform. If you want sharp, 45-minute multi-class intensity β€” this is your series.Race hard.
Race fair.
Enjoy it.
