This time we’re going bigger and bolder with a 8 round multi-class season bringing a bit of DTM inspiration with Constructors’ Teams. Team up with your competitors based on your GT3 or GT4 car choice. 10 constructor teams will be included this season. GT3s and GT4s will be on the same constructor team. Check out the Constructors’ team list below.
Each driver on the grid will be fighting for a class championship along with representing your car choice for the Constructors’ Cup. 2 feature 90 minute double scoring races are included this season. 2 points will be awarded to fastest lap in each class, along with DTM based qualifying scoring for the class standings.(Bonus points for qualy will be: 1st=3 bonus points, 2nd=2 bonus points, 3rd=1 bonus point). Each race will require 2 mandatory pit stops. In DTM style, No refueling allowed in 60 minute sprints. Refueling is allowed for 90 minute races. Tires are always optional. There will be 1 drop round this season. Championship trophies will be awarded to the class winners, based on shipping.
Mandatory Drivers Meeting 10 minutes before each event on ARL discord.60 minute races only:
90 minute races only:
No collaboration or match-making is needed to form constructor teams, this will simply be decided by whichever car you choose. Every driver will score constructors’ points each round. The average score of the team will be used each round(total team points scored divided by number of drivers on the team). The goal is to have all manufacturer teams represented in the championship. Qualy bonus points will be added to the standings after results are finalized each round.
In the 20 minute split qualy, first 10 minutes are for GT3s only. Last 10 minutes are for GT4s only. GT4s may start lining up at the pit exit at the 11 minute mark. Top 3 in each class will receive bonus points each round.
Blue flagged drivers are not required to move for faster traffic. We ask that you stay on your racing line and do not defend in and out of the corners. If possible, you can lift on a straight to help facilitate a pass. It is the faster car’s responsibility to make a safe pass on blue flags. GT3s will receive double penalty for obvious incidents with GT4s. Common sense is the best tool in these scenarios.
ARL is committed to clean, fun, competitive but fair racing. We’re all here to have fun so bring the good vibes only. Purposely wrecking other drivers or sabotaging races will not be tolerated along with driver bashing after a race. Accidents do happen and most disputes can be worked out via private chat. ARL’s Incident Reporting will open 12 hours after each race on discord. Please read the Incident Reporting rules before submitting. Any questions or comments, DM @PrinceNiek on ARL discord.
