 Caution flag and restart procedure
1. Drivers must be in the discord voice chat. (mic not required but heavily encouraged)

2. An incident is when two cars are involved in a wreck. (If you spin out by yourself it doesn’t count unless you needed to teleport to pits from falling off the map or losing a wheel) .

3. When two incidents have occurred, or one incident with at least 4 people involved, a caution (yellow flag) will be called.
A. To avoid confusion during the race. Yellow flag code word is “BANANA”
B. When the yellow flag (“BANANA”) is called, the field is to race back to the start finish line
C. Once you pass the start finish line cars are to slow to pace vehicle speed (80MPH or 129KPH) or at race di rectors' discretion.
D. Cars will line up behind the pace vehicle or race leader in the order in which they passed the start finish line E. When the caution comes out, the pit lane is immediately closed.

4. During a yellow once the pits are opened, the lapped cars may unlap themselves.

5. During a full yellow, the pits will be opened the first time by the pit road once the majority of lead lap cars are lined up.

6. When pits are open cars may pit as often as they wish at the expense of track position.

7. Cautions will not be called during the first N laps of the race, or the last N laps of the race or stage where N=4 for ovals and 3 for road courses

8. A “quick yellow” may be called where lapped cars may not unlap and pits will not be opened. (Race Directors Discretion)

Restart procedure
1. Restarts are single file.

2. To avoid confusion when coming out of turn into restart zone comms (voice chat) is to remain clear until green flag is waved.

3. Once the pace car has pulled into the pits, there is a restart zone consisting of a blue area painted on the track (if none the race director will appoint an area as the race restart zone). The leader will accelerate in the restart zone.

4. If the car in front of you has not started accelerating by the end of the restart zone, you may pass them.

5. A restart is official once the legal lead car crosses the start/finish line. A race director may abort the restart before the start/finish line. Flags Flag Description The green flag indicates that the race has started or restarted. For restarts, green flag waves when the leader accelerates within designated restart zone, or drives past the restart zone. Pay attention to the car in front of you! Green flag will be called in vc for the start of the race. The green and white checkered flag is shown to indicate the end of a race stage. After the top 6 drivers cross the start/finish line, the caution flag is displayed). The yellow flag, or caution flag, indicates a hazard on the track — most often an accident. All cars must slow down and follow the pace car. Passing is not allowed under the yellow flag unless directed to. The red flag indicates that the race has been stopped. Cars may be ordered into the pits or on the track depending on conditions. In some races, a red flag is used to indicate a predetermined pause in the race. Penalties The white flag indicates N* laps remaining in the race. More specifically, it indicates that NO yellow flags will be thrown for the rest of the race. *See I.7 The checkered flag indicates that the race is over. The black flag indicates that a driver must pit immediately. This flag is shown if the driver violates a rule, and may be kicked from the race.

The following is a list of NASCAR penalties. Penalties are at Director’s Discretion and can result in a simple restart at the tail of the field, a multiple lap penalty, or disqualification. Driver claims of intentionally causing a caution will be reviewed after the race in replay. Restarting at the End of the Line for the Ensuing Restart Pitting before pit road is open (certain exceptions apply sometimes) Restarting at the End of the Line (caution) or Drive-Through Penalty (green flag)
1. Pitting before pit road is open

2. Pitting out of order if the place is not given back within a sufficient time frame (race directors discretion).

3. Car/truck must enter pit road in single file

Pass-Through Penalty
1. Jumping any green flag

2. Illegal Lane Change on restart

3. Track limits
a. Restrictor plate races and road courses are the only races where NASCAR enforces track limits.
b. At the high-speed superspeedways, track limits are marked by a double yellow line separating the apron from the racing surface.
c. For road courses, boundaries will be determined before the race.
d. Exceeding track limits to advance one's position is subject to a drive-through penalty, or if the foul occurs on the last lap that car will be relegated to 30 second penalty.

Penalties assessed at BKM's discretion (All MODERATORS AND HONORARY MODERATORS ARE CONSIDERED RACE DIRECTORS) Actions detrimental to league racing Example but not limited to, intentional wrecking someone.

Qualifying procedure. Single-car qualifying will be used. Drivers have 15 minutes Qualifying

Qualifying Type: Fastest Lap

Car Setups
Car set ups must be posted in the #Kwik-setup channel BEFORE qualifying start time. Setups can be modified during the race and qualifying.

Car livery
1. Each car is required to display its number on each door of the car and on its roof. The front of the car and bottom of the rear bumper are required to match the decal specifications of the car manufacturer.

Racing Etiquette

NASCAR racing etiquette emphasizes respect, safety, and calculated aggression, commonly known as "rubbing is racing" but avoiding intentional, race-ending wrecks

Track Driver Etiquette
Respect the Leaders: If you are a lap down, you should yield the racing line to cars on the lead lap, unless you are fighting to get your lap back or they tell you otherwise. KEEP IN MIND LAPPED CARS CAN GET SOME LAPS BACK AT THE NEXT CAUTION

Blocking: While blocking is acceptable to a degree, it should not be done in a way that causes major accidents, MAKE YOUR MOVE EARLY.

Caution Management: If a crash happens ahead, reduce speed immediately if safe and do not use it as an opportunity to gain spots.

Pit Road Protocol: Drivers entering pit road must do so safely, getting onto the apron before they slow down.
