RaceFace.Pro iRacing GT3 Championship | Season 2

Overview

Welcome to Season 2 of the RaceFace.Pro GT3 Championship.

This six-round GT3 championship will use our brand-new mixed race formats, designed to add strategy, variety, and entertainment for both drivers and viewers. Races will take place on alternating Tuesday evenings. This is an open setup series.

We will run the same tracks as the Simucube GT3 Sprint Officials of Season 1 of 2026. Due to the nature of when the season starts, all setups should be available for drivers if they wish to use 3rd party setups.

NOTE:
FOR ALL FEATURE AND TECHNICAL ROUNDS, THE FUEL CAPACITY OF ALL CARS ARE LIMITED TO 50%

Entry Fee

This series is free to enter.

Registration

Registration is handled on SimGrid.

iRating & Safety Rating

• No minimum license required.
• Recommended: iRating 1000+ | SR D or higher
• League organisers may reassign drivers between Pro/Am divisions if pace is mismatched.
• Sandbagging will result in loss of points or possible removal from the league.

Race Day Schedule

The league will be making use of the iRacing League system – see the Races Tab on SimGrid for Round details. If not part of the league yet, please join by searching RaceFace.Pro, or using the following code: 12788

Rounds 1, 3-5

• Drivers Briefing: 19:45
• Server Live: 19:00
• Practice: 60 min
• Qualifying: 15 min
• Race: Format-dependent (see below)

Rounds 2

• Drivers Briefing: 19:45
• Server Live: 18:40
• Practice: 80min
• Qualifying: 20 min
• Race: Format-dependent (see below)

Grand Finale (Round 6)

• Drivers Briefing: 19:45
• Server Live: 18:40
• Practice: 65 min
• Qualifying: 20 min
• Race: 95 min Endurance

All times GMT+2

Race Formats

We will rotate between three race types plus the Grand Finale:

• Technical Format → 2 x 30 min races
• Feature Format → 30 min race + 45 min race
• Endurance Format → Single 80m race
• Grand Finale → 95 min race

Rules

• 16x → Drive Through Penalty
• Every +7x → Drive Through Penalty
• 1 Fast Repair only (except for endurance format. 2 Fast Repairs
• Mandatory tyre stop on Endurance and Feature's 45 min formats
• Open Setup

Weather

• Weather will try and follow the weather of the SimuCube GT Sprint series
• Variations in weather i.e. chance of rain, temperature, clouds and such may occur
• Drivers are requested to attend the practice sessions the week before, or run Test Drive sessions for the session at their own time

Stewarding

• No live stewarding.
• The first lap will not be reviewed after each race.
• Drivers must log incidents via the ticket system on our Discord.

Broadcast

All races will be live-streamed on the RaceFace.Pro YouTube Channel.

Trading Paints is supported – please ensure liveries are safe for work.

Can’t Make a Race?

Life happens and we can't all make all the of the races - if you can't make a race please use the sign-out/withdraw function for that round.
