Description and Instructions

Welcome to the 4th edition of The Ricky Taylor Grand Prix! This one is an edition solely for the drivers that are looking to endure a tough challenge!

We will race 4 full hours of the Nurburgring 24h layout, but with a twist - using the TOUGHEST race settings possible! Heavy mechanical damage, super-strict penalties, heavy tyre wear and fuel consumption, and much more! If you are looking for a tough challenge, this is the race for you!

  • Track: Nurburgring 24h Layout

  • Car Category: Gr.3

  • Race Distance: 4 Hours of Endurance Racing!

  • Tyre Compounds: All Racing compounds available (Hard, Medium, Soft, IM and Heavy Wet)

  • Mandatory Compounds: ALL DRY COMPOUNDS MUST BE USED!

  • Date & Time: 7th March 2026 from 5:00pm GMT

  • HEAVY Mechanical Damage, STRONG Track Limits, STRONG Wall Collision penalties, and heavy tyre wear and fuel consumption!

đź“ť How to Register

Sign up on The SimGrid to be listed for the race. We will have 20 spots available for sign-ups. From the 20 sign-ups, 11 people will be selected onto the grid, with the rest taking reserve spots.

If you are selected as one of the grid drivers, you’ll get all the final details 2 weeks before the race — lobby settings, fuel consumption/tyre wear, driver briefing, and everything else you’ll need for race day.

If you are NOT selected for this race, you will have the option to be automatically shortlisted for the next edition should you be available to participate on the date & time (announced on a future date). You will also be put as a reserve driver should any of the selected drivers cannot make the race anymore.

We’re all about clean, respectful racing, so keep it fair and competitive. Whether you’re a regular in our lobbies or it’s your first time joining, this is a great chance to push yourself and enjoy some proper endurance racing with the community.
