Project Vapour Presents: The 3rd Season of the Evening Dash LMU Championship!
We are back with the 3rd Season of the Project Vapour Evening Dash, proudly sponsored by EG Evolved! Head to https://www.egsimrigs.co.za/ for all of your simulator needs!
The Evening Dash is a multi-class sprint championship featuring ELMS LMP2 prototypes and LMGT3 cars, built for competitive action and exciting battles across the field!
All cars are permitted for the selected classes.
Car and class selections are locked after Round 1 — no changes will be allowed for the remainder of the season.
PRIZE POOL
LMP2s (based on final standings):
1st Place: R250 cash and R2000 in in-store credit
2nd Place: R150 cash and R1500 in in-store credit
3rd Place: R100 cash and R1250 in in-store credit
GT3s (based on final standings):
1st Place: R250 cash and R2000 in-store credit
2nd Place: R150 cash and R1500 in-store credit
3rd Place: R100 cash and R1250 in-store credit
EVENT TIMING
All times are in SAST.
19:30 - Server opens
20:15 – Mandatory drivers’ briefing on Discord
20:30 – Race schedule begins
FORMAT
Practice Session (connection check) - 5 minutes
Qualifying Session - 15 minutes (divided into two 7-minute and 30-second sessions for each class, check Discord for further information)
Sprint Race - 45 minutes
RULES & FAIR PLAY
There is no live stewarding; however, all drivers are expected to race respectfully at all times, and incidents on lap 1 will be reviewed. Consistently poor driving standards may result in removal from the series.
An incident review channel is available in the official Project Vapour Discord. All incidents must be reported there in line with the series procedures.
STREAMING & COVERAGE
All races will be live-streamed on the Project Vapour YouTube Channel, with live commentary from Sinclair Hannie.

All competitors are required to read the Racing Guidelines, available in the relevant Discord channel.
