🧑‍⚖️stewarding APP (Incident Manager)

  • ORL has recently developed a primitive stewarding app that will allow us to have no fault
For those of you who are familiar with iRacing no-fault built in stewarding system you will understand it quite well. It is not the same system, however, it is similar in how it works. Once there is a contact detected each driver gets Incident Points. Once a point thresholds is reached a penalty is automatically applied.
In our sprint races we are experimenting with values. It seems the following is working well for a 60 min race:
  • 2 points per contact
  • 4 points = 5s penalty
  • 8 points = 15s penalty
  • 12 points = DT
  • 16 points = SG 30
  • 20 points = DQ
  • We will adjust it for this race, we just need to consider what is fair vs what is excessive.
  • This race will have live-stewards overseeing the Incident Manager app, however you are still encouraged to submit reports in our #🎫│enduro-reports channel in case they are not picked up or severity is in question
