At least 1 practice session hosted by a race director for a minimum of 1 hour.
One first LMGT3 qualifying session, on Friday, of at least 15 minutes reserved for cars of the LMGT3 category: this session will have 1 Driver from each Team try to set their best lap time possible within those 15 minutes.
One second LMGT3 qualifying session, on Friday, of at least 15 minutes reserved for cars of the LMGT3 category: this session will have a different Driver that did not take part in session 1 from the Team to try and set their best lap time possible within those 15 minutes.
One first Hypercar qualifying session, on Friday, of at least 15 minutes reserved for cars of the Hypercar category: this session will have 1 Driver from each Team try to set their best lap time possible within those 15 minutes.
One second Hypercar qualifying session, on Friday, of at least 15 minutes reserved for cars of the Hypercar category: this session will have a different Driver that did not take part in session 1 from the Team to try and set their best lap time possible within those 15 minutes.
The average time between the 2 Drivers will determine if that Team makes the grid for the Event or not. The top 3 in their class championship in each class will automatically make the event even if they don’t make it in on time. This is because the DRA prioritizes consistently showing up to events rather than letting teams who run 1 off races and pushing out dedicated teams.
1 race, on Saturday, which must not last less than 6 hours (except for the Daytona 240).
No official warm up session will be scheduled on the Competitions unless otherwise specified by the Race Directors/Organizers.
The field will be split between 16 slots on the grid. 7 of these slots will go to Hypercars and 8 slots will go to LMGT3's. 1 slot is reserved for a Race Director at all times.
