Description and Instructions
Welcome to the ARL Endurance Championship.
A 5 round enduro season with events ranging from 1.5hr - 3.5hr races. Teams of 1 or 2 drivers are permitted to join. XBox users please copy your Simgrid user id into the PSN slot to join. Drivers are encouraged to join a 2 driver team for this series. No driver stint times, 1 mandatory pit stop for tires each race. Final round is worth double points. Please check ARL discord for announcements before each event. Races will be held every 3 weeks. There will be 1 drop round for the series. 2 points will be awarded for fastest lap each race. Championship trophies awarded to the winning team, based on shipping.
Race day consists of:
- 5 minute practice
- 40 minute open qualy
- 1.5hr - 3.5hr race(1 mandatory pit stop for tires)
Important Notes:
Remember with driver-swaps, the starting driver selected on Simgrid should enter the server first. Once starting driver is in, the rest of the team should be good to enter the server. If you want to pass the car off to another driver, simply come into the pits and select drivers name on the MFD. After the stop, driver selected should have control of the car.
Blue flags do not have to give up the racing line. We ask that you do not defend into the corners and allow room if possible or a slight lift down the straights to help facilitate a pass. It is the faster car’s responsibility to make a safe pass on blue flagged cars. If you are a blue flagged car, you are allowed to unlap yourself at anytime in the race. Common sense is the best tool in these situations. An endurance teams chat has been set up on ARLs discord to help facilitate drivers in need of a team. XBox teams can be added manually. ARL is committed to clean, fun, competitive but fair racing. We’re all here to have fun so bring the good vibes only. Purposely blocking other drivers or sabotaging races will not be tolerated along with driver bashing after a race. Most disputes can be worked out via private chat. ARL’s post race incident reporting will open 12 hours after the race on discord.
