ISL ASPIRE RACING SPORTSCAR LEAGUE - SEASON 2

Welcome to the second season of our Tuesday night IMSA series - sponsored by ISL Refrigeration, and Broadcast LIVE by GreenFlagTV!

Our league follows the iRacing IMSA sprint official calendar.

Please sign up in your preferred category. Once sign-ups begin we will sort you all into classes based on your iRating so that everyone has something to fight for!


CLASSES/CATEGORIES

Classes will be decided based on irating and will be as follows:

- GTP PRO
- GTP AM
- GT3 PRO
- GT3 AM

A PRO-AM class may be added in GT3 depending on sign-ups.

You must be 2000 iRating or higher to sign-up in GTP. GT3 is open to all drivers.

We understand iRating isn't always an indication of a drivers pace, so we reserve the right to move drivers to a different class if required.


RACE NUMBERS

We will assign you a race number once the classes have been split. Please sign up with your preferred race number and we may adjust it.

For example: John Smith signs up in GTP with preferred number of 75. If they are placed into GTP PRO they will have the race number 175. If they are placed into GTP AM they will have the race number 275.

This process is to help with identifying different class drivers during the race using the in-game relative. The numbers 101/201/301/401/501 are reserved for the champion of the previous series - unless they do not return.

EVENT CALENDAR

EVENT SCHEDULE

• Practice: 19:00 CET - 90 Mins

• Qualifying (Open): 20:30 CET - 30 Mins

• Race: 21:00 CET - 60 Mins - ONE MANDATORY FUEL STOP

SIGN OUTS

If you cannot attend a race please withdraw or sign out from that race in the races tab. If you don't attend a race and don't sign out from that race you will receive 10 penalty points removed from your championship tally.


DROP ROUNDS

There will be one drop round for this series.


INCIDENT POINTS

Drive through penalty at x17 followed by drive-through every x5. DSQ at x25.


BONUS POINTS

There will be 1 bonus point per race for fastest lap.


PIT STOPS

Fuel will be limited to 80% for GTP and 75% for GT3, 1 mandatory fuel stop.


WEATHER

Weather and conditions will be set as close to the weeks iRacing IMSA series official as possible, taken from the official iRacing schedule PDF. We will however allocate one guaranteed wet race based on the worst conditions experienced in the IMSA sessions that week.

Servers will be created for all sessions before the season begins, allowing all drivers to practice using the likely conditions for the races.

STEWARDING

There will be post race stewarding, and drivers will be able to report incidents on our discord to be reviewed by our stewarding team. We reserve the right to remove drivers from the series for unsportsmanlike conduct. We also have our stewards 'Lap 1 Review', more details can be found in the league document.
