ThePitCrew Xfinity Tour kicks off Season 1 of 2026 with fresh challenges, new tracks, and updated rules.

Expanded Track Variety:
This season introduces a mix of classic ovals and a road course for added excitement:
- [Legacy] Michigan International Speedway – 2009
- New Hampshire Motor Speedway
- Richmond Raceway – Oval
- Kentucky Speedway – Oval
- Charlotte Motor Speedway – Oval
- Daytona International Speedway – Oval
- EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta) – Oval
- Circuit of the Americas – NASCAR West
- Phoenix Raceway – Oval w/open dogleg
Tyre Strategy Upgrade:

Now 5 sets per race (up from 4) – more flexibility for pit strategy and late-race pushes.
🔄 What’s Changed
Fast Repairs:
- Reduced from 5x to 3x – clean driving matters more than ever.
Incident Point Limits:
- To improve the racing and hopefully reduce number of safety cars we are implementing incident point penalties
- 17x = DT
- 25x = DSQ
Core Rules Remain:
- Fixed setups
- Apron usage prohibited during race (except final lap)
- Safety car protocols unchanged:
- Double file behind safety car
- Lapped cars drop to back
- No bump drafting behind safety car
🗓️ Race Schedule
All races start Sundays at 19:00 (UK time) with the following session format:
Practice: 20 min | Qualifying: 5 min | Race: Laps or 1 hr 35 min
How to join the Races:
All our Races for ThePitCrew are organized via Hosted Sessions.
In the iRacing client, go to the Hosted section and search for ThePitCrew. You will find the session shortly after the scheduled start time. Then click on the Locked Button, enter the password, then join the session. Password details you can find in the Races section here on SimGrid.
