OVERVIEW

 

Welcome to Racing Monday Season 2 of Checkered Flag here on Simgrid! After organising Season 1 on the RaceApp, we are now taking the next step towards international drivers and planning Season 2 here.

Follow us on our journey! :) We look forward to seeing you on the track.

The first race of Season 2 will take place on 24 October.

 

Schedule of the event

 

TIME ZONE (CET+1)

18:00 -> START OF TRAINING

20:00 -> QUALI START (15 min.)

8:20 PM -> RACE START (45 min.)

 

STEWARDING

 

For Season 2, just like Season 1, there will be both Live Race Stewarding and Post Race Stewarding. During the race you can contact the stewards via the Google Drive form in our Discord where we will have a dedicated channel for incidents, and the same channel/form can then be used for anything after the race that still requires action. Please note that the deadline for reports or protests is no later than 1 hour after the end of the race. The list of penalties can be found in the regulations on page 11.

Custom Liveries

Custom liveries created outside of the game are allowed in this series, but please keep in mind that they are not officially supported by the developers of the game. The series will be streamed live on Twitch and custom paint jobs can be shared with the stream host in a special channel on CF Discord. Let's see who can be the most adventurous within the boundaries. Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will result in the team being banned from the show. Files will be released for use by the broadcaster and drivers on Discord in the designated "Racing Monday" channel.
