SRC USA Championship - Season 2

Virtual Safety Car (VSC):  Must be in Discord Voice Chat

To be allowed into the series, you must acknowledge with a ticket in the USA Thread.  Anyone to not do this will be removed from the entry list.

We will be implementing a VSC for the first 2 laps of any race.  If there were to be an incident involving 2 or more cars, the leader will become the Safety Car.  The speed will be reduced to 80mph / 128kph and everyone will form a line in position behind them.  Meanwhile the cars affected by the incident will be allowed to go to pit lane to fix damage and return to the end of the line of cars.  This will cause the pit requirement to be fulfilled so it will require another pit stop to cover the proper pitstop.  

If a car involved with a VSC that does a pit to fix damage, and does not do an additional required amount of pit stops, a 120 sec penalty will be added post race.

Any incident after the first two laps will continue as normal.  

You must finish races to score points. If you start the race but don't finish, you'll be manually marked as DNF in SimGrid.

Success Penalty: 

Sprint races - the top three finishers in each class from the previous round will be given a 10, 7 and 5-second post race.
Endurance races - the top three finishers in each class from the previous round will be given a 20, 15 and 10-second post race.

Tire Allocation:
30min will be given 6 sets of tires for the race weekend 

60min will be given 4 sets of tires for the race weekend

100min will be given 5 sets of tires for the race weekend

Sprint- 1st 25, 2nd 18, 3rd 15, 4th 12, 5th 10, 6th 8, 7th 6 8th 4, 9th 2, 10th 1

Endurance 60/100min-  1st 37.5, 2nd 27, 3rd 22.5, 4th 18, 5th 15, 6th 12, 7th 9, 8th 6, 9th 3, 10th 1.5

Bonus =  2 points for fastest lap.

There will be one drop round for this season.

Real life liveries are encouraged, custom are allowed.

Must have final car selection by Saturday 10/25 at 11:59pm est. After that car change penalty of half your current points.
