3HR at NORDSchleife Endurance Charity Event For better Mental Health
🏆Event structure:
The 3HR at Nordschleife Endurance is a 180 minute race around the 24HR Nurb circuit. This is a team endurance for 1 to 3 driver teams. There are no stint timers, no mandatory stops, and no pitstop requirements. It is a completely open strategy!
This is a Charity Event for Better Mental Health run with Evolution Racing & Development! All proceeds from this event will be donated to the
Black Dog Institute! To incentivize donations, teams will be able to purchase things like ballast (both for yourself and other teams) and penalties (can be added or removed). Simply donate to the PayPal with a note saying which car will receive the penalty! All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Ballast (can be added or removed to yourself and others):
$1/per kg of ballast removed or added
Penalties (can be added or removed to yourself and others):
5 second time penalty: $5 (can be stacked)
Drive-Thru penalty: $20
Stop-Go 10s penalty: $30
Stop-Go 30s penalty: $50
Pitlane penalties can only be applied once per car per hour. If the penalty is removed before the end of the hour, it can be reapplied if someone purchases it again. Ballast and time penalties have no limit.
🏁Race format:
Each race event features:
- 60-minute official practice
- 15-minute Drivers Briefing in Discord
- 30-minute open qualifying
- 180-minute race
🌧️Weather conditions:
- We will use real life weather as a reference to set the conditions. This means it may not be the same as real life conditions, but it will be accurate to possible real conditions.
🛤️Practice Server:
- Practice server will be always set up one week in advance.
- The communication to the drivers will contain the server setup details like: - Cloud coverage ⛅ - Rain probability 🌧️ - Weather randomness 🔀 - Time multiplier ⏱️ - Temperature 🌡️
🐕🦺Assists:
- All tiers will have the maximum stability control setting to zero and auto-steer disabled. Other than the ones mentioned here, all assists are allowed to be used.
👮Stewarding and live streaming:
- All drivers will be required to join the driver's briefing stage in our discord server after the conclusion of FP1.
- There will be a live broadcast.
- The stewards will use contact logs to hand out penalties, but if you have an incident that you believe needs to be looked at, please contact the stewards.
- The stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it appropriate and necessary.
DLC WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPETE IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES
