📜 Race Rules – The Eric Memorial 2-Hour
Firm, fair, and respectful—just like Eric would’ve wanted.
🔹 1. Driver Conduct
- Respect is the foundation of this event. Drive cleanly and consider the spirit of the race.
- No divebombing, punting, or blocking—race hard, but give space.
- Drivers behaving aggressively or disrespectfully will be warned or removed without appeal.
- If you cause an incident, own it—redress if appropriate, and continue respectfully.
🔹 2. Multi-Class Etiquette
- Audi 90 GTO (Faster Class) must make safe, predictable passes. You are responsible for the overtake.
- Porsche 992 Cup (Slower Class) should hold their line. Do not move unpredictably or brake erratically.
- This is Bathurst—respect the difficulty of passing zones. Impatience will be penalized.
🔹 3. Qualifying
- 15-minute solo qualifying (one car on track per session if possible).
- Track limits and off-track invalidations apply.
- Do not block, distract, or impede other drivers during their flying laps.
🔹 4. Track Limits
- Standard track limits will be enforced (iRacing system or custom server rules).
- Repeated abuse (e.g., cutting the chase, wide at Skyline) will result in time penalties or disqualification.
🔹 5. Damage & Repairs
- Full damage is enabled. Treat the cars—and each other—with care.
- Racing with damage is allowed, but unsafe cars may be black-flagged.
🔹 6. Pit Strategy
- Pit stops are open, fuel and tire strategy is at the driver's discretion.
- No required stops unless otherwise stated. Plan your strategy carefully.
🔹 7. Voice Comms (if used)
- Keep voice chat clear and relevant. No yelling, arguing, or excessive chatter.
- If emotions run high—mute, reset, and race on.
