ENTRY INFORMATION
Welcome to season three of the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge GB. This is an officially licensed championship by Porsche Cars GB
Please note the following points before entering this Championship
- All drivers must be 18 years old or over - if any driver is found to be under that age, they will be disqualified from the championship
- Only drivers who are UK citizens can take part in this championship
- All drivers must hold a paid Motorsport UK Esports Membership (ÂŁ27.99 for 12 months) - Info and sign up here - https://esports.motorsportuk.org/membership/
- There is no additional entry fee for this Championship
- Any driver who has ever qualified to compete in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup OR Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Great Britain championships are NOT eligible to enter this challenge
OVERVIEW
Motorsport UK Esports and Porsche Cars GB have come together to offer this first of its kind community challenge which spans five rounds at UK circuits and consists of eight 30-minute races.
EVENT TIMETABLE
- Tuesday Evenings
- Practice - 6:00pm BST
- Qualifying - 7:00pm BST - (Lone Qualifying, 2 Laps, 10 Minutes)
- Race 1 - 7:15pm - 7:45pm BST
- Race 2 - 8:00pm - 8:30pm BST

TOP 3 DRIVERS FROM EACH CLASS WIN:
- A half day driving experience at Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone
- PRO drivers will participate in the Porsche 911 experience
- AM Drivers will participate in the Porsche Cayman experience
Please note the Experience days will take place on a date specified by Porsche Cars GB.
In addition to this the winner of the PRO Class will be invited to join the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB Championship
CLASSES
The Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge GB is split into two classes PRO and AM. The classes are decided by your highest iRating achieved on iRacing.
See below the classes:
- PRO - Porsche GT3 Cup (992) - Drivers whose highest iRating ever achieved is over 3,000
- AM - Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR - Any driver that does not meet the PRO criteria
Drivers are not permitted to use a second, new or 'smurf' account to try and get into the AM class. Drivers will be checked to ensure the drivers main/highest rated account is used.
Stewarding
The championship will utilise stewards who will watch the race, but all incidents will be reviewed post race.
To have an incident reviewed, you must submit any protests through the protest form form located here - https://forms.gle/yLvgFqvdVi13XXEw5 and the stewards will review it. All penalty outcomes will be confirmed via Discord
BROADCASTING
All five rounds of the challenge will be broadcast LIVE on RaceSpot TV and Motorsport UK TV
EVENT RULES
- Standing starts
- Fast Repairs: 1 per race
- Minimum Licence: Class D 2.0
- Drive Through Penalty after 20x incident points and then every 10x after that
- Strict qualifying in game scrutineering
- Qualifying for Race 1
- Finishing positions of Race 1 dictate the starting grid for Race 2
- Fixed setups for BOTH classes
WEATHER
The weather will always we set to forecasted for all Rounds and the in sim game time will be set to 6 months ahead of the Championship Round with the following times for each race: Race 1 - 10:00am Race 2 - 3:00pm
CUSTOM LIVERIES
All drivers are allowed to use their own liveries for each race, however there is a compulsory decal layer to be added to all liveries. This will be provided through the Motorsport UK Discord server.
All drivers using their own livery that displays a logo or image must get a letter signed by the owner of the logo that they have permission to use the logo.
If a driver does not want a custom livery then a plain livery will be allocated to them.
All liveries used must adhere to the iRacing Paint Policy found
here (policy updated 08/12/21)
Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see the driver banned from the championship.
