HFG 2.4 Hours of Watkins Glen Camaro Mini-Enduro

OVERVIEW

We’re going to Watkins Glen this Sunday for mini-endurance race. 144 minutes of hard-charging fun at Watkins Glen. A beautiful American track, and we’re doing it in the Chevrolet Camaro GT4! (Note due to SimGrid limitations, the event tab says the race is 2 hours, but it really is 2.4 hours)

EVENT TIMETABLE 

Start Time: 1400 EDT / 1800 UTC

Practice - 10 Minutes

Qualifying - 20 Minutes

Race - 144 Minutes

You do not have to join the server at the beginning of practice, just do so before Qualifying begins to avoid causing lag spikes.

PIT STOPS

There are no pit mandatory stops, but there is a 40 minute stint timer. Drivers have 3 tire sets for the full event.

DROP ROUNDS

There are no drop rounds in this event.

CUSTOM LIVERIES

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this series. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.

WITHDRAWALS

If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click 'manage registration' and then click 'leave event' so that others can join the event.

STEWARDING

This series has post-race stewarding. If you feel someone was deliberately not following the rules, go to the race tab on the SimGrid web site, select the race, then select the admin tab, and click on the incident report button. For rude in-game chat, take a screenshot of the chat and submit it to Jacky Harris or Guidot (Jeff) via PM on Discord.
