miniduro goes LeMANS!
Welcome to miniDURO, our traditional prep races for iRacing special events! Coming hot off the back of our inaugural Nürburgring championship, we're following up with a Le Mans 2.4 this week as prep for the Majors 24 featuring the same classes & sim conditions as the 24. Unlike our usual miniDURO events, this race is open to solo entries only.
raceday format
- 18:00 UTC - Practice
- 18:40 UTC - Lone Qualifying, 8 minutes/max. 2 laps
- 18:50 UTC - Drivers' Briefing (Post-Quali Warmup session)
- 19:00 UTC - Race
- 21:24 UTC - Race End
registration requirements
- Registering on SimGrid - don't hesitate to join the discord to ask for help with registering
- Creating an account
- Join the FRS discord
- Register for the event with your chosen car & number
- Staying in the FRS Discord & grabbing the miniDURO role to stay up-to-date with any announcements/updates
There is no minimum road licence or iRating required for this event, the race is open to all interested drivers :)
RACE SESSION DETAILS
- Sim Date/Time: 14 June, 4pm Green Flag
- Drive-through at 25x and every 10x after (No DQ)
- 1 Fast Repair available to all teams
- No BoP

Live stewarding
We
have live stewarding for the session with stewards on
hand to keep an eye on proceedings as well as dish out penalties as/when
required. For those interested, we will make use of the iRacing Live Stewarding App to achieve this. We are using a subset of the Majors 24 ruleset that we expect all drivers to follow (see our Rules here). There is a possible chance for a manually controlled Full-Course Yellow/SC, to be confirmed.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
We love to see custom paints used in our races! To this end we advice for drivers/teams to use liveries from Trading Paints and/or upload their own on there since our broadcast will be using TP as
well - do sort out your liveries through this tool if you wish to see
your car's paint on the stream. Naturally, as this is iRacing, we urge
people to abide by the iRacing rules and not pick paints that fall foul
of them (i.e. nsfw/offensive/politically charged liveries). We reserve
the right to remove offending teams from the race if need be.
