This is a single race event. Everybody race with the Group 5 Porsche 935 K3, just pick your number and liver and reflect it in the application form.
Car setup is free. Qualifying will use the Super Pole format and it will be private qualifying. It means you will leave the pit, do 1x outlap then 1x timed lap (this one will determine your position on the grid) and then you will have to come back to the pit with 1x entering lap. Be careful: entering the car and then pressing ESC will count as 1 lap, making it impossible for you to qualify. So hit DRIVE when you are ready to commit.
Penalties
Cutting the track rules are set to "normal" and you have a total of 5.0 penalty points (rFactor2 automatically determine the severity of a cut).
Pit lane speeding is automatically punished with a drive through (DT). Pit lane speed limit is 83 Km/h (23 m/s)
Race accidents will be reviewed after the race and a discretionary time penalty will be applied on top of the final time (potentially making you drop some position). Visit Discord channel for details on the procedure and read our briefing channel.
If the accident heavily compromise another drive's race you can also incur in a immediate disqualification.
Any accident occurring in the first 2 laps of the race and in the 2 final laps of the race will generally receive a bigger penalty.
As a general guideline you always have to leave room to race to other drivers. If your cars have any side overlapping (eg: front bumper with other car rear bumper) then you need to make sure the other driver can complete any manuever by staying inside the track.
Door against door contacts are part of the fun and we all love some aggressive overtake, but again remember that if you compromise any other driver race, a penalty will be applied.
Changing line under braking is forbidden and will incur in a penalty if causing any contact, accident or other driver spun out.
No dive bombing.
Deliberately crashing into another car, driving wrong way on track or any sort of verbal harassment will be punished by the ban of the user from the championship and the H-Volution community both on Simgrid and Discord, with no appeal.
