βœ… 1. General Overview

Crossplay will be enabled, allowing players from different platforms (PlayStation & Xbox) to compete together.

βœ… 2. Race Format

  • Race Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)

  • Grid Formation: The grid will be determined through a qualifying session, with the fastest times setting the order.

  • Pit Stops: All cars must make at least one pit stop during the race. Tire changes, fuel refueling, and repairs can be done during the pit stop.

βœ… 3. Crossplay Eligibility

  • Connectivity: All players should ensure they have stable internet connections to avoid disconnections or lag during races. Players should ensure their game is updated to the latest version for compatibility across platforms.

  • Controller/Steering Wheel Compatibility: All players must use a compatible controller, steering wheel, or similar device that provides a competitive advantage on the same level.

βœ… 4. Pit Stops

  • Mandatory Pit Stop: Each car must complete at least one pit stop during the race.

  • Fueling and Tire Changes: Drivers may refuel and change tires during their pit stop. However, there are 4 TIRE SETS restriction on tire usage.

  • Pit Lane Speed Limit: The pit lane speed limit is 50 km/h. Exceeding this limit will result in a penalty (5 seconds added to the race time for each offense).

βœ… 5. Qualifying

  • Session Length: Qualifying will consist of a 20-minute session.

  • Grid Placement: The grid will be determined by the fastest lap times set in qualifying.

  • Driver Substitution: Since this is a solo event, there will be no driver swaps, and the starting position will be determined by qualifying times.

βœ… 6. Race Conduct

  • Clean Racing: All competitors are expected to race cleanly and respectfully. Any form of reckless driving, intentional wrecking, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in penalties or disqualification.

  • Blue Flags: Lapped cars must yield to cars on the lead lap as indicated by blue flags. Failure to comply may result in a penalty.

  • Pit Entry/Exit: Drivers must follow proper procedures when entering or exiting the pit lane. If a driver cuts the pit lane entry or exit, they will incur a penalty (10 seconds added to their total race time).

βœ… 7. Points System

The following points structure will be used for the championship if applicable:

Position Points:  Linear points system (1st place = 40 points, 40th place = 1 point)

Bonus Points: Additional points will be awarded for the fastest lap during the race (5 points), provided the driver finishes in the top 10.

Solo Points: Points will be awarded to the individual driver, not a team, based on their final position.

βœ… 8. Race Control & Penalties

  • Race Control: Race control will be available for all competitors through the in-game communication system or Discord. They will monitor all race activities and ensure fair play.

  • Penalties: Penalties may be applied for:

    • Contact or Accidents: A time penalty (5-30 seconds) depending on the severity of the incident.

    • Pit Speed Limit Violations: In-game rules for speed limit.

    • Blue Flag Violations: A warning will be issued for the first offense, with a time penalty for repeated infractions.

    • Disqualification: Any participant found violating these rules intentionally or excessively (e.g., multiple incidents of reckless driving, collusion) may be disqualified from the event.

βœ… 9. Disconnection and Technical Issues

  • Disconnections: In the event of a driver’s disconnection during the race, they may be allowed to rejoin if possible, but the race will continue under normal circumstances. If a driver is unable to continue due to multiple disconnections, they will be given the option to withdraw or accept a race-time penalty.

  • Technical Issues: In the case of technical issues preventing a driver from completing the race (e.g., controller issues, system crashes), race control will assess the situation and may allow re-entry or issue a time penalty depending on the situation.

βœ… 10. Conclusion

The 60-minute solo endurance race for Assetto Corsa Competizione is designed to provide a competitive, fun, and fair racing environment. Participants are encouraged to follow the rules, race fairly, and enjoy the experience. Drivers should always be mindful of their conduct on and off the track, ensuring the event remains a positive experience for everyone involved.
