The continuation of Racing Pals' mainstay league is here for Season 12 of RP Series. After 11 seasons and numerous endurance events we're calling sunset on our time in ACC and instead are moving to Le Mans Ultimate for some WEC style multi-class action.
Season 12 will start on 13 April with a pre-season race and run until 8 June. There will be a one week gap between the pre-season race and the first round, and another between the fourth and fifth, whilst all other rounds shall be two weeks apart. See the calendar below for the full timetable.
For those wishing to sign up in the hypercar class please sign up on SimGrid and attend the pre-season race, after the pre-season race our stewards will review the hypercar class and pick out any who are seen to be driving dangerously (particularly around GT3s), or who otherwise seem incapable of driving a full series in the class. These individuals will be removed from the class but won't be prevented from signing up in GT3. This decision will not be purely based on skill, so if you get taken out early on but can repair and finish the race safely you are not likely to be removed.
Following the pre-season race, if there are hypercar slots still available we will request that anyone who wishes to fill them demonstrate that they are at least Silver 2 safety in LMU. Mid-season sign ups for GT3 must also demonstrate at least Bronze 1 safety. The stewards will reserve the right to remove any particularly unsafe drivers apparent from the pre-season race.
Each round will be structured as follows:
Race information will be posted in the #rp-series-info channel on our Discord prior to the race with any particular rule-sets and weather forecasts.
