Championship Rules and Penalties

Welcome to the Teams Championship, where adherence to the rules of racing is vital for maintaining a fair and thrilling competition. Below are the detailed rules and penalty guidelines to ensure a seamless racing experience.

1️⃣ Penalty Administration

1.1 Incident Severity Assessment

  • Minor Incidents: Infractions with limited impact on the race, such as unsportsmanlike conduct or minor contact.
  • Moderate Incidents: Actions that significantly disrupt race outcomes, like significant incidents affecting other drivers without major consequences.
  • Severe Incidents: Deliberate actions that compromise the integrity of the race, including reckless driving that leads to substantial disruption.

1.2 Severity-Based Time Penalties in Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC)

  • Minor Penalty:
    •  5 Seconds - Applied for unsportsmanlike conduct or minor contact.
  • Moderate Penalties:
    •  20 Seconds - For significant incidents affecting other drivers.
    •  25 Seconds - For major collisions or multi-car incidents.
  • Severe Penalties:
    •  40 Seconds / 50 Seconds / 1 Minute - For reckless driving leading to substantial disruption, with potential disqualification for extreme cases.

2️⃣ Event Rules

  • Pit Window Length: Disabled.
  • Driver Stint Time: Maximum duration of a driver's stint is 1 Hour 35 Minutes.
  • Mandatory Pitstop Count: Four pit stops are mandatory during the race.
  • Max Total Driving Time: A single driver can drive for a maximum of 2 Hours.
  • Max Drivers Count: Maximum of two drivers per team is allowed.
  • Refueling In Race: Refueling is enabled during pit stops.
  • Refueling Time: Refueling time is variable.

These rules ensure a structured and fair environment, enabling every team to strategize while prioritizing safety and sportsmanship on the track. Adhering to these guidelines is essential for maintaining the spirit of competitive racing throughout the championship.
