iRacing Midweek F4 Sprint Championship | Season 2

VELOCITY INTERNATIONAL presents: iRacing midweek FIA Formula 4 championship

Welcome to Velocity's second season on iRacing! 

Velocity International is a Sim Racing Community born from Console ACC. Over the past two years we have grown to over 700 members across Console ACC and iRacing. This series is part of our second season on iRacing. Join us to help shape the future of our iRacing Community!

This series will see Drivers contest 10 Sprint Race of 35 minutes in the FIA F4. Qualifying sets the grid for a short 15 minute heat race. Finishing order of the heat race determines the starting order for the 35 minute sprint race.

SERIES CALENDAR:

All races take place on Wednesday @ 9:30PM AST starting March 26th, 2025. All reported times will be in Atlantic Time:

3. Mid-Ohio 
4. COTA 
5. VIR 
6. Suzuka 
7. Road Atlanta 
8. Nurburgring GP
9. Oulton Park 
10. Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

SCORING:

We will use the SimGrid Progressive scoring.

RACE DETAILS:

• Fixed Setups for all races
• Start Type: Standing Start
• Practice: 45 minutes
• Quali: 10 minutes (sets grid for Heat Race)
• Heat Race : 15 minutes (sets grid for Sprint Race)
• Sprint Race : 35 minutes (pit for fuel)
• Fast Repairs: 1
• Drive Thru penalty after 30 incidents points and every 15 incidents point after. Drivers to report incidents in Discord after race. Admin may also use in-session stewarding controls.
• Assist levels will be set to C-Class iRacing events
• Weather: IRL Weather (Rain possible)
• Track Conditions: Carry-over (Marbles cleaned each session)
