Description and Instructions

Series Overview

Mercedes-Benz ATK Pro series 2022 is a Sim Racing tournament that consists of six online races on the Assetto Corsa Competizione platform. The series will feature up to three classes: Pro, Pro-Am and Am with a maximum of 40 drivers per class. Drivers are required to register with the intention of participating in all six of the scheduled races.

Hot Lap Qualifiers (HLQ) Seeding

A qualifying server will be opened from Monday 18 April 08:00 SAST until Friday 27 MAY 22:00. All drivers may enter the server to set as many qualifying laps as they wish. Divisions will be formed from the results of the valid qualifying laps.

Race Format 

  • Practise: 5 Min
  • Qualifying: 15 Min 
  • Race: 50 Min 
  • No mandatory pitstop required
Drop Rounds
Drivers will drop their single worst round at the end of the season.
This will cover unforeseen circumstances such as power failures, internet failures and hardware / software failures.
Car Choice 
The Mercedes-Benz ATK Proseries 2022 is a one-make series where drivers will compete using the 
Mercedes-Benz AMG EVO 2020

Prizes

  • VVIP Tickets to the Kyalami 9 hour valued at R40,000 each (Flights not included for international participants)
  • R10,000 (ZAR) prize pool per race, divided amongst the splits
  • Top 3 RSA citizens will RECEIVE an invitation to the Pro Series "Champion of Champions" live event in Cape Town
