British Ginetta series

Welcome to TRACK DAY RACING season 2.

An all British affair using the Ginetta G55

This will consist of 5 rounds with 2 x 25 min races each round with the final round being a 60 min race with pitstop.

FORMAT

• The server will be restarted for this event at 8pm UK time on Wednesdays. There will only be a 2 min practice before each race to allow people to settle in and or have a break.
• Qualifying starts at 8:02pm UK time.
• In-game times:
• Practice: 2 minutes (break)
• Q1: Sunday 13:00 - 10 minutes
• R1: Sunday 15:00 - 25minutes
• Practice: 2 minutes (break)
• Q2: Sunday 13:00 - 10 minutes
• R2: Sunday 15:00 - 25 minute

• Weather settings 20% cloud, 0% rain, 2 randomness; 19C (dry)
• Pre-race time 2 minutes
• Short formation lap
• No mandatory pit stops (apart from final race)
• 1x time progression

We will have 1 drop rounds for the season.

• Round 5 - Silverstone (60 min with pitstop)

Linear scoring system with bonus point for fastest lap

To take part you must follow TRACK DAY RACING on Simgrid and join TRACK DAY RACING on discord so that you can see any event updates.

INCIDENT REPORTING

As with any racing, incidents can occur. Most of these can be resolved with an apology and chat between the drivers concerned. However, if you feel that an incident requires a steward intervention then you can do this by messaging the stewards directly with the lap number and car numbers involved.  You can see who the stewards are on discord.

WITHDRAWING

Please withdraw from any round that you cannot attend as soon as possible.
