👋Welcome to the 🟠orl🔵 x 🔴FRL🔵 nls mini series
Welcome to our first ever colab series and NLS style series. In this short championship we will not have any modern GT3's so we can give everyone the opportunity to race in cars they might not otherwise try out. If this is popular we will run another version of it again with different variation of classes and possibly actual modern GT3's to keep it current. Please sign up as a solo or duo and note the requirements on pit stops.
📓PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
- YOU MUST BE IN BOTH DISCORD SERVERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CHAMPIONSHIP!
- Please read the ORL RULE BOOK.
🏆Class/driver category explained
You may sign up as a solo or 2 person team for this series in any class below. You may change your car but you cannot chance classes.
- 🟪GT2
- 🟥Porsche Cup (BOP TBD)
- 🟩GT3 (Reiter, Jag, AMR V12, BMW M6, Bentley 2015 & McLaren 650)
- 🟧GT4
- ⬛BMW M2 (-40kg)
We plan on using BoP to separate the classes as well as balance within the classes. We will adjust the Porsche Cup car up or down segnificantly depending on how our BoP testing event goes
📅Calendar/schedule
Race weekend:
- P - 9:00 am EST (15min)
- B - 9:15 am EST (15 min) [B=Briefing]
- Q - 9:30 am EST (25 min) [all together]
- R - 10:00 am EST (90min, 2hr or 3hr)
Qualifying Rules:
- We will send one class out at a time to ensure there is minimal multiclass overlap. So GT2's will leave the pits first, then GT3X's. Once they lap around the GP portion of the track and pass the pit exit we will allow the Porsche Cup, followed by the GT4 and lastly the M2's to leave.
- If any faster class car is behind a slower class car we will expect patience and co-operative behaviour.
- If a faster class car wants to overtake a slower class car they must flash them as a way to ask permission, then the slower car may respond by either using their indicator to communicate the direction they will move or completely move off the racing line to allow space for a clean overtake.
